The city received 1.7 mm of rain on Tuesday, according to the India Meteorological Department. However, there were traffic snarls on most key arterial roads.

Slow vehicular movement was reported between Marathahalli and Silk Board junction, Domlur on Inner ring road, Basavershwara Circle to Windsor manor junction on Sankeys Road, Richmond Circle, Sampige Road, Okalipuram junction, Sarjapura and Magadi Road. There were no complaints of tree fall except the one in Kattriugppe.

The IMD has said that there would be generally a cloudy sky in the city with one or two spells of rain and thundershowers for the next two days.
