Karnataka's Belthangady is hottest at 38.8°C

MANGAURU: Belthangady Hobli in Belthangady taluk
of Dakshina Kannada district recorded maximum
temperature of 38.8°C on February 13 at 3pm.
Dabaka C hobli in Aurad taluk of Bidar district
recorded lowest minimum temperature of 10.3°C at
5.45am on February 14.
More than 90% relative humidity has been recorded in
27.5% geographical area in the state. Less than 25%
of relative humidity has been recorded in 81%
geographical area in the state.
Dry weather conditions prevailed over the state. No
rainfall was recorded in any of the 2,202 gram
panchayats across Karnataka. Karnataka for period
from February 8 to February 14 recorded deficit
rainfall of 93%. Against normal weighted average
rainfall of 0.6mm in south-interior, north-interior,
malnad and coastal parts, state recorded rainfall of
0mm. For 24-hours period ending 8.30am on February
14, four geographical regions received 0mm actual
weighted average rainfall against normal weighted
average rainfall of 0.1mm, a 90% deficit from the
weighted-average normal.
