Rain causes water logging, traffic issues...

With rain gauges registering 5.3 mm of rain by Monday morning, the city saw trees falling, water logging and a host of traffic issues.
“We received complaints that a big tree in Basaveshwarnagar and one in Banashankari, near Deve Gowda petrol bunk, had fallen down. Apart from this, there was one water-logging complaint near the Lokayukta office,” said a BBMP control room operator. Slow moving traffic was reported from several parts of the city, with traffic cops giving warnings about Jalahalli Cross on Tumkur road, the tollgate towards the Satellite Bus Stand and Mysuru road. Slow moving traffic was also reported at Indian Express circle, BDA Junction , Sankey Road and Manyata Tech Park towards Hebbal.
Temperatures oscillated between a minimum of 18.9 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 24.4 degrees Celsius.
